Mookaite Beads Chanting Mala

A Mala is a set of beads commonly used by Hindus and Buddhists for keeping count while reciting, chanting,
or mentally repeating a mantra or the name or names of a deity.

Mala's are made with 108 beads and a  guru bead. They can be made with fewer beads, such as 18, 27, or 54
which would require the user to make several rotations to complete their full meditation. 
The number 108 has spiritual significance as it is believed that we have 108 lines of energy in our bodies which converge to form the anahata, or the heart chakra.
This Mala is made with 6mm matte Mookaite beads and a matte Amazonite guru stone. 
The tassel is golden brown. The Mala is strung on nylon thread and is hand knotted between each stone.
