Aberlady Wall Cross -

The design for this cross comes from the side of a cross; found originally in the church of Aberlady. The church is on the south shore of the Firth of Forth, 8 miles east of Edinburgh and 3 miles north of Longniddry Junction. The 2 foot high fragment of this cross was found built into the wall of the manse garden. The vine running the length of the cross is the tree of life, which symbolizes life in all its variety, and provides a link between heaven and earth. The spiral in the middle of the cross head represents the continuous cycle of expansion and contraction of energies found in nature and in the quest for spiritual growth.

Due to the hand casting and proprietary staining process, each of my plaques is unique. Each cross comes with a hanger embedded in the stone. The cross comes with a descriptive tag describing the original stone, explanation of the design or information on where the cross is located.
